Artbooking in August #4

Welcome to the Artbooking In August Blog Hop!

If you have been hopping with us, then you have arrived from Amy's Blog

Remember this is a circular blog hop and if you get lost or confused along the way, the list is posted on my blog here.

This week I did a Home Decor / gift-able item.

I used the 6x6 canvas canvas display and the retired paper pack Dreamin
I cut out the Letter A from the Artboooking Cartridge 3 inches.
I cut 1 inch squares of the patterned paper I wanted to use and used mod podge to adhere them to the canvas.  Then I covered the whole canvas when finished with mod podge to seal it.  I added some copper brads to the corners.  This makes a cute little gift for someone or a great home decor item.  You could even add a photo!

Wow - this month is flying by!  Welcome to the third week of the Artbooking in August Blog Hop!  The last two weeks over 30 consultants have dazzled us with their creativity!  If you have been following our blog hop, then you know the ladies were presented with a challenge to create!

Their challenge was to create 4 different projects using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge and any CTMH paper pack.  Their mission was to design each of the following:

1. 2 page layout
2. Card
3. Mini Book
4. Home decor or 'giftable' item

They were able to choose what to make and when to post it. AND if they wanted to add stamps to their designs, that was OK.  This week they will add another great design to the challenge and I am anxious to see what everyone has created!

Remember this is a circular blog hop and if you get lost or confused along the way, the list is posted on my blog here.

This week I did the 8x6 Baby Mini Album that is on the Artbooking Cartridge.

I choose the Blue and Orange colors and only used Cardstock on this album,  You could use any paper you choose and make it for boy or girl .

I love the cute little Giraffe that is on the cartridge.

Artbooking in August #2

Hello!  Here we are in week two of our Artbooking in August Blog Hop!  It's been fun and I hope you are getting some wonderful ideas to use with your Artbooking cartridge!   If you came from Amy's you are on the right track!  It's one big circle so when you get back to me you know you have completed the circle.   If you get lost along the way you can get back on track HERE.

This week I decided to make a card using the New ProPlayer Paper pack.
I used the J key on the Artbooking Cartridge to make the Overlay on the card.

I also used the New ProPlayer Assortment for the embellishments on the card.
The stamp set I used is the Take Note Stamp set that comes in the Artbooking Bundle.

I would love to hear your comments!  Thanks for looking!

Now go check  Emilys Blog for her beautiful artwork!

Artbooking In August #1

Welcome to the Artbooking in August Blog Hop

You should be coming from Amy's Blog

This week I did a Layout with just one key on the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge
The "K" key
Set my dial to 11" and cut everything out to be the correct size for the layout

This is a very easy way to make a great layout.
4th of July photos are a bit dark but they look good with all the photo mats which I love, they add so much to the layout.
