My project for Day 1 is a 4th of July Layout

I used all cardstock from Close To My Heart.

And the Silver Glitter Paper

I cut the Title and the firework from the Cricut.

I used Chipboard stars and colored them with ink.

Cant wait to add my photos of our 4th of July BBQ and Swim Party.

To create the techniques featured in this artwork, follow the helpful hints outlined below. Then use the left page of the pattern found on page 22 of our Make It from Your Heart™ Volume 1 how-to publication for inspiration.

Cut the following Cricut^® Artbooking shapes using paper of choice:
- 2" RDS Shift+Title <J> (p. 64)
- 2" RDS Shift+Border <K> (p. 65)
Cut the following Cricut^® Art Philosophy shapes using White Daisy cardstock:
- 1 1/4" <Rctngle4> (cut 2, p. 25)
Stamp corresponding ticket images on die-cuts in Cranberry ink; stamp ticket image twice more on Lagoon pattern B&T paper, trim off ends, and layer ends on White Daisy tickets.
Stamp “Fun” sentiment on circle shape (cut using 1 1/4" circle punch) in Goldrush ink.
Cut Ruby cardstock strip and stamp words down the length of it using Ruby ink.
Remove Slate thread from baker’s twine and use it to stitch around top half of page.
Stamp large fireworks using Whisper ink on bottom third of White Daisy page base; adhere grey epoxy Bubble on center of each stamped firework.

Stamp small firework images in Slate ink on White Daisy cardstock strip; stamp “Party” sentiment in Ruby ink over firework images.
Attach stamped sentiment strip to Skylark Sweet Leaf Pattern paper and place 3 stamped Goldrush stars on right side. Wrap Whisper baker’s twine vertically around sentiment.
Mount sentiment on card, using 3-D foam tape if desired.
Stamp dynamite image in Lagoon ink on White Daisy cardstock, trim, and tuck under left edge of sentiment.

- 2 1/2" Shift+3D Object <()> (p. 39)
Cut the following Cricut^® Art Philosophy shapes using White Daisy cardstock:
- 1 1/4" <Rctngle4> (cut 2, p. 25)
- 1 1/4" <Shape12> (p. 38)
Stamp corresponding ticket images on die-cuts in Lagoon and Goldrush inks.
Stamp corresponding “What a Blast” sentiment on die-cut in Cranberry ink.
Wrap strips of Goldrush cardstock, Skylark Lagoon Pattern B&T paper, and Cranberry cardstock around base of box.
Stamp “Party” sentiment in Lagoon ink, trim out each letter, and mount letters across box front using 3-D foam tape if desired.

Stamp “Celebrate!” sentiment in Ruby ink on White Daisy cardstock, trim, and mount using 3-D foam tape if desired.
Knot three small lengths of Slate metallic baker’s twine and glue knots along left edge of silver Shimmer trim.
Stamp small firework images in Ruby ink on White Daisy cardstock, trim, and layer over large stamped fireworks, using 3-D foam tape for dimension.
